Hello. I'm really the only one who goes on this, which is fine by me. I shall log everything that has happened recently for myself. It's been a heck of a month.
So first, I had my birthday on the 14th. I am now 14! Muahahaha. Until now, I've been known as the youngest one in our not-so-little friends circle. I found out that there's a guy whose birthday is in, like, July...so yeah. I'm older than someone! Woot!
Um, second, we're graduating in five days (including today)! Graduation is on Tuesday (if you didn't feel like counting). It's kind of creepy. To me, it feels like we've got another month of school to go, but we've only got one more day of actual classes. One day of fun. And one day of graduating. WAH. CREEPY.
We had step up day last friday. Step Up day is when we visit the high school, and get a tour. Though it wasn't really a tour. More like, a series of stations in various rooms. And in each room, we recieve a different lecture. Except in the cafeteria. We ste there. They have the same food as we do at the middle school. However, they have more stuff. Like french fries! WHICH ARE DELICIOUS.
And today, in Spanish, we basically had a party. So (it's actually kind of funny) our teacher lets us come in, like normal, and we sort of talk while we wait for everyone to show up. And somehow the topic of a pop quiz comes up. I think it was started by our teacher. We all thought she was kidding. Anyway, she takes attendance and stuff, and then she goes, "Okay, you've got five minutes to study for the pop quiz." And me and my friend and a bunch of people around us went, "Shoot". So I started counting off with the person sitting next to me, and my other friend, the one who I'm older than, says, "She's kidding. She's not actually giving us the test." And I was like, "Eh" because this particular teacher is really serious when she wants to be and so I actually thought that we were gonna have a pop quiz. Actually, at first I didn't, but after she told us that we had five minutes to study, I did believe her. So she goes, "okay, clear your desks for the quiz", and then she gives these papers to a student on the side, and they hand back sheets of paper that are actually our progress reports. And then our teacher turned on, like, a Spanish rap CD. And then out of nowhere, Hawaiian punch and Fresca and cookies and munchkins and crackers and Guava paste come out of nowhere. So then we ate and signed yearbooks for the rest of the period.
Yeah, that sounds stupid, the way that I describe it, but it was actually really funny.
Um. And then. Sad stuff.
So my friend's mom died. She had cancer (her mom did). And I didn't know this until, like, Monday. It came as a pretty big shock. Our grade was pretty nice about it though. A card went around the 8th grade hallway today, and a lot of people signed it. Some signatures were actually really lame, as if they were signing a yearbook. "Have a good summer!" Other people were lame because they just signed their names. Although, I guess I can understand this. If they weren't friends with her, maybe they wouldn't know what to say? In any case, they could've just said, "My condolensces" (I think I spelled that wrong) or something. But I guess not. Anyway, earlier today a few friends and I went to the wake. We gave her the card while we were there.
A lot has been on my mind lately. It's not just the things included here. I've also got high school life on the mind. I'm also taking a trip to Singapore/China this summer, and we're leaving next friday. Which is exciting.
And then all the things I already mentioned, except for the Spanish class party thing. That was just fun.
Which is why I finally blogged. I think I have to accept that I am never going to be able to update this once a week. I mean really. I don't think I have that much drive. And if I, in fact, do, I would probably use it for something else.
I don't know. I think I need to like, either spend a few hours alone or with a few friends. Maybe both.
Eh, almost summer. I'll get there.

I'm a bad kid. XD
It's all school's fault.
Of course it is.
Anyway, hi.
Life is boring, thanks for asking.
I've spent the past few days trying to find a music player that can play the majority of the songs on my iPod (remember, I have Fedora, which is a Linux operating system. No iTunes on here, people.). And I succeeded here.
I also tried to install Zoo Tycoon using Wine, a program that makes various downloadable items and software believe that my computer is running some Windows operating system. At the moment, it believes that I am running Windows XP. Install succeeded, but then when I tried to play it the computer froze. Ah well.
(Just to make this clear, I don't play Zoo Tycoon. My sister wanted to play it, and my mother was working on some reports for the students in her class using the computer that already has it installed, so I decided to try and make her happy by installing it to my computer. I don't think it would have worked very well regardless, as the laptop I own currently, love it though I do, is super old and slow. Ah, well. I tried, didn't I?)
After today, we've got 25 more days of school left. Wah.
It seems so short! But it feels so long.
You know what makes it longer? Knowing that tomorrow we've got {insert name of statewide test} (if I gave you this piece of information, it would reveal my current location. So haha, stalkers. Haha.). Math {insert name of statewide test}. Should be fun. We've got another session of it on Thursday also.
But back to school days.
I recently decided to try and create a countdown for the rest of the school days in the school year, counting down to when my fellow classmates and I graduate. Of course, this proves very difficult to accomplish online. If I were to use an online countdown generator, it would count not just the school days, but the weekends in between the school weeks also. So, that is not an option. I was also thinking about just doing something in Facebook statuses, but that's boring stuff. If anyone who happens to see this blog (which aren't many, I am sure) has any ideas, pitch them. Ideas are always welcome, even if the contributer knows that the idea is totally random and will not work. Thanks in advance, I guess. Just in case there's the slightest chance that people stumble across the site.
Well, I always say this. Truth is, I do not enjoy advertising the site. So I should't really be saying anything about people not visiting. I bring this on myself. Whatever. I don't really care. Having my own place on the web is fine. =)
Expect more updates in the future, as we do have Memorial Day Weekend coming up. Me and some friends of mine have tentative plans to go shopping at some point, so, if that happens, that should be fun.

Byes.
Haha! Now Ali isn't the only one with two posts in one day. Although, it's technically...never mind. Can't give away the timezone. Ehe.
Anyway, I did make this layout. The image isn't amazingly fantastical, but it'll do for now. I tried to do this split-toning thing I found in a tutorial a while back...but I think I didn't do so well. That's okay. You'll live. And um, a lot of the code was copied/pasted from another, but I changed almost everything in it. So everything should be good. I also added a Visitors page. I'm not sure how I'll arrange the content on it yet, but I'll work on it.
Uh, also, I've decided to finally get around to hooking up the printer/scanner my Mother bought a while ago...I'll be able to scan some stuff and put it on here. Yay!
So yeah. G'nite everyone. Hope someone actually comments on one of these. Even if you're a fraidy cat/don't know me/don't want to (hahaha!)..Unless you're a stalker/identity thief/mean person and you know it. Then don't, please. Ahaha.

Ello. What's up.
I am bored. That's what happens during school breaks. Kind of pathetic, maybe, but it's a lot better than being in school.
Not like being in school is bad. We learn. But, it's the same thing over and over again. Nothing changes. So, school's boring as well. I guess I'd rather be bored doing things I find fun at home than be bored doing things I find boring in school.
Anyway, I've updated quite a bit in the last four days. I've got more writing pieces up, and uploaded a bunch of photos in the new Portfolio section. In the last two locations that killerpies has been at, this is as far as it's gotten. However, Weebly's got the tools for more complicated content. I've just got to figure out how to use them. And, maybe take a couple of steps outside the box. Be creative, Meli!
*is pumped up and tries to come up with a list of creative content ideas*
Ehe. Failboat. Ah well. I'll work on that over the next few days. In the meantime, go visit the two sites that I have linked to on the About page!

So if anyone has actually bothered coming back more than once, me and Ali have moved. Again. I include Ali because she's the one who has brought me to Weebly. Which, I have to admit, isn't that bad. Not that I thought differently before. Just, I like it a lot more than Wordpress at this point.
Anywho, I'm going to try and update at least once each week. Which is sort of pointless, 'cause I'm positive I'm going to break this promise. But, at least I've got a goal. I'm going to put up my writing page again, because there really wasn't much on it in the first place, and then I'm going to hunt for a better layout. This one's decent, but, premade. And sort of overdone. I mean, how many layouts have you seen that have a simple landscape in them? About a million. Yeah.
Toodles!
